High Levels of Sodium...

• All sports drinks are vital for replacing any loss of electrolytes. PURE Race Fuel has been designed for longer durations, so a higher sodium concentration has been included to match. Why? Sodium is vital to support the uptake of glucose out of the intestinal tract and studies have shown an average loss of 1000mg sodium per hour.
• A combination of both sodium chloride and sodium citrate have been used, for flavour and reduced GI issues, as well as other electrolytes that are lost in sweat.

Why Fructose?

• It is well-documented that using multiple transportable carbohydrates (i.e. glucose:fructose) will enhance both absorption and oxidation.*
• We are yet to learn the optimal ratio of HBCD:fructose in sports performance but based on feedback from elite athletes during the development of PURE Race Fuel, lower rates of GI disturbance have been evident.

HASTA Certified

• Human and Supplement Testing Australia (HASTA) is Australia's first commercial product testing organisation, testing for WADA banned substances. As a performance product it was a must that PURE Race Fuel become a part of the HASTA product certification scheme.
• Earnt not bought! Certifying a product involves not just testing, but verification of the manufacturing quality controls that are in place. If a product has the "HASTA Certified" seal on pack, it means that every batch has been tested for over 200 WADA prohibited substances.

Directions
Mix contents of sachet / 5 level scoops with 250 ml of water and shake well. Add an additional 200 ml - 500 ml of water and shake well. Let sit for 10 minutes before use. Race Fuel can be mixed to your preferred consistency, however we recommend 750 ml. Consume within 12 hours of mixing.

Recommended Use
450 ml - 750 ml per hour during extended exercise.
